Love, Papa.
I watched what they did, so I followed.
I heard what they said and I agreed.
But I couldn’t seem to feel it.
It seemed logical at the time, because everyone was doing
it.
But eventually I began to wonder about my feelings.
Others continued seemingly without question or thought.
Were we right or wrong?
Shouldn’t someone have questioned it by now?
There were always those with different ways.
But obviously, they must be wrong.
For this was our way.
And who am I to challenge?
Indeed...
