Armour

Armour
Love, Papa.

Words ring hollow
When voiced aloud
If the speakers Armour
Shields the truth.
Listen carefully!
To words being said
By YOU!
Love, Papa.

Smoke

Smoke
Love, Papa.

Wistfully drifting through the invisible
Suspended by nothing
Overwhelming the senses
Splashed against the background of what is
Tempting us with visions of what is not
Hmmm.....I wonder what other mysteries lurk
Within the obvious.
Love, Papa

Each Step

Each Step
Love, Papa.

The first step points the direction
The second step seals your fate
The third step accelerates the momentum
Every following step fulfills your vision
Each step you take is leading you somewhere
Only the destination is optional
Love, Papa.

This Too Shall Pass

This Too Shall Pass
Love, Papa.

As my focus is drawn toward the pain
I am reminded once again
That this too shall pass.
For, though I am sometimes comfortable wallowing
In the self pity I’ve grown accustomed to,
I know that happiness lurks close by
And the journey can take
Remarkable twists on a moment’s notice.
So I return in my dreams to that which makes me smile
And allow the struggles to drift away.
Knowing full well that
This too shall pass!
Love, Papa.

Misfit

Misfit!
Love Papa.

When was the last time you saw a butterfly out of place?
When were you disappointed that a flower bloomed?
Have you ever seen a sunset that you didn’t like?
Each one is different, never to be repeated!
Yet we often strive to fit into the expectations of others,
Only to find ourselves feeling inadequate or uncomfortable.
Whenever you feel like a misfit, remember............
Conformity is the plague of humanity!
The mere fact you are different is what makes you belong!
You are the butterfly, the flower and the sunset!
And you are exactly where you are supposed to be, right now!
Rejoice in being a misfit!
We are all misfits and should be proud of it!
Love Papa.

Stumble

Stumble
Love, Papa.

Instead of focusing on the object that caused you to stumble on your path
Be grateful for all the steps you took before you fell.
Diversions are not conclusions
Unless you stop!

Love, Papa.
