Put yourself in harm’s way
Failed to step away
And now you are looking for someone else to blame.
How is it that they can be responsible for your outcome,
When if you had made other choices, you would not be here?
Asking another to accept the blame for your decisions
Is like the flower blaming the earth for where it grew,
When the flood comes and washes it away.
If not you, then who?
Who chose for you to be in the wrong place at the wrong
time?
To take up with the wrong people, marry the wrong partner,
get the wrong job?
Nice to have someone to blame...
But how’s that working out for you?
Responsibility begins when you accept it!
