Things that others say and do
Often cause me pain in my brain
I worry, I fret, I argue, and I judge.
Their comments, their actions,
Lifestyles and choices
Are not the ones I would choose.
“I” was brought up to think differently.
“I” believe they are wrong.
Therefore “I” must be right!
Focusing all my efforts
On the choices of others
Can be such a bother.
And they never listen
When I tell them!
Sigh....
