When you learn to be grateful
For the screaming in your head
Know that peace is before you.
For each action is a prelude to the next
But you need only be aware of the one you presently experience.
You are being led through the darkness
Kicking and screaming, smiling and laughing.
Of course each moment reflects a shadow of the past
But as you stand on the threshold of the next moment you
choose
Know that Peace is always a choice.
When gratitude is proclaimed!
