Careening around in your mind like a ping pong ball on steroids.
Randomly bouncing from thought to thought.
Never pausing for more than a second.
“It’s 3:00 am! YOU KIDS GET TO SLEEP!”
“Don’t make me come in there!”
Our thoughts can be very determined when they believe they are being ignored.
Attempts to calm them can often be futile.
Don’t ignore them.
Focus on each one and tell it that you have not forgotten, you’re just busy at the moment and will get to them in due course.
Ask for guidance
Release the tension
Now put down the paddles
And lets all get some sleep!
