Love, Papa.
Though you listened not
To the words I said
Time and time again,
We arrived together
One more time
At the place we both began.
You stumbled about
On your merry way
As if you really knew.
But I’ve told before
And I tell you once more
It is I who must lead you!
For I came before so I must know more
As is told in daily lore.
But truth be told
You are the light
That guides toward the end.
Else how could it be
That we find ourselves
On a path,
Together again!
